An Edmonton local, Dr. Max Dekterov earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Alberta. He then moved across the country to achieve his dream of becoming a chiropractor at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto.

He is well-versed in treating many conditions. All types of injuries can be treated, from acute to chronic spinal dysfunctions and acute strain and sprains. Dr. Max takes time to provide utmost customer service to his patients and get to the root cause of their problem. He is also very passionate in treating whole families and kids as young as 1 years old and grandparents as young as 91 years old! He believes in everyone’s ability to live a full and active life with chiropractic care.

Dr. Dekterov’s therapy style combines evidence-based chiropractic care with active rehabilitation along with other areas of interest include Graston, custom foot orthotics, and postural training.

Practicing what he preaches to his patients, Dr. Dekterov spends his spare time going to seminars to fine-tune his skills, does a great deal of self-directed learning, and attends community meetings and educational talks. He participates daily in physical activities such as powerlifting, yoga, rock climbing, road cycling and cross-country skiing. To stay on top of his health and nervous system function, he receives regular chiropractic care, massage and acupuncture.

Mr. Mohanad Elmusharaf (He/Him/His)

Mohanad (Moe) completed his Master’s degree at the University of Alberta in 2018. Since graduating he has pursued a career in private practice focusing on musculoskeletal injuries and rehabilitation. His treatment approach is highly engaged with emphasis on education, movement/activity modification, and helping clients develop self management strategies for sustained progress. He is highly personable and enjoys talking about his family, travel, technology, current events, and sports.

Moe completed his Functional Dry Needling Certificate through “Evidence in Motion” in 2019. In addition, he has also completed multiple levels of Manual therapy through the Orthopedic Division of the Canadian Physical Therapy Association and enjoys working with his hands for a balanced and optimal therapeutic experience.

Moe has a unique passion for sports related injuries and rehab, and has developed a deep well of tools and cues to help keep treatment fun and engaging while guiding patients through their rehabilitation process. Furthermore, he is also experienced with MVA related injuries, WCB accidents and claims, as well as post-op care.
